List the events before choosing a destination
A notice may name a funeral home, a place of worship, and a cemetery. Those addresses describe the service schedule; they do not necessarily tell a florist where to deliver. The funeral home may coordinate flowers, but you need its instructions for the particular service.
Write down the date, start time, and physical address for each event. Then ask where a floral tribute should arrive. This avoids selecting the last address in the notice simply because it appears closest to the ordering link.
Ask about the first receiving window
If there are afternoon and evening viewings, ask whether flowers should arrive before the first session. Do not assume the building is staffed earlier that morning or that flowers can be held overnight.
For an early service, ask whether delivery the prior day can be accepted. Bloom Lane’s same-day order cutoff is 12:00 PM in the destination’s local time, but a cutoff is not a promised arrival time. Product, florist, and receiving availability still control whether the service deadline can be met.
Assign responsibility for any transfer
Ask whether the funeral director, family, venue, or another provider will move the flowers after the first event. Do not assume the original florist delivery includes a second trip. If another delivery is needed, confirm the arrangement and any charge before placing the order.
The size and container can affect transport. A large easel tribute may need a suitable vehicle and careful handling. A family member who can carry a small basket may not be able to move every piece.

- Which arrangements will move, and which will remain?
- Does the next venue accept those containers or stands?
- When can flowers arrive, and who receives them?
- Does any equipment need to be returned?
Do not send a duplicate order by accident
When different relatives share different links, check whether they refer to the same service plan. Choose one organizer for a group gift and one delivery destination unless you intentionally want separate arrangements.
Put the deceased person’s full name and confirmed service details in the order. If the schedule changes, contact the florist through the available support channel promptly. A note added after checkout may not reach a driver who is already on the route.
If the service deadline cannot be met
Do not send flowers to a building after the gathering simply to complete the order. Ask what changes remain possible. A later sympathy delivery to a confirmed family address may be appropriate if the family welcomes it, but that is a different destination and should be agreed before dispatch.
